95.1 KNVC celebrates our Sense of Place in Carson City. A sense of place is about the bonds and attachments we create by our lived experiences in the place we are. It’s something we all long for, and we find it here, Where History Lives and Adventure Awaits"

A sense of place is also the theme for Carson City Mayor Lori Bagwell’s State of the City Address this year. If you were unable to attend, the City has kindly provided this video recording.

Make sure to attach the file of the song in either mp3, FLAC, or WAV and include the song lyrics (20MB maximum email size). The song needs to adhere to FCC guidelines and needs to mixed and mastered well.

KNVC Community Radio broadcasts at 95.1 FM in Carson City, Nevada and online at knvc.org. As an independent, non-commercial community radio station staffed entirely by volunteers, we rely on financial contributions from our listeners and local donors. A community radio station is a reflection of the community it serves: it's a hub for the civil exchange of ideas important to all residents.
Our dedicated, volunteer hosts and DJs broadcast live from our station in the historic Adams House, and they pre-record shows at home and conduct interviews either live or remotely. It defines their dedication and ingenuity to bringing you the best in music and talk.
